What are the advantages of tumbler wine glasses?

Do you remember the embarrassing scene where the red wine was spilled on the floor after accidentally knocking over the glass at the last party? Recently, a “tumbler” wine glass designed by a company in San Francisco may make you less embarrassed!

This “Saturn” glass is designed by adding a wider, curved rim just above the bottom of the glass. In this way, when the glass is accidentally tipped and tilted, this curved edge can hold the entire glass, prevent it from being knocked over, and thus retain the wine well in the glass. In this way, this “Saturn” cup is really a bit like a “tumbler”.

Designers Christopher Yehman and Matthew Johnson co-designed the mug. Based on the traditional Italian glass blowing technology, they thought of designing a wine glass to prevent the wine from spilling everywhere when the glass is accidentally knocked over, soiling the clothes and destroying the atmosphere.

The company said, “After 4 years of continuous research and improvement, we have designed this ‘Saturn’ glass to be very light and suitable for drinking.” To make the glass, the company first asked people to hand-craft the mold Well, then blowing in Oakland, California. It takes overnight for each cup to go from cooling to firming.
